Our Story
Since its founding on October 31, 2001, the Auntie Karen Foundation has dedicated itself to generating a positive impact on today's children - the voices of the future. The foundation is a global, nonprofit, 501 (c) 3 charitable corporation certified by the state of South Carolina.
What started out as a personal passion within our founder, Karen Alexander-Banks, grew into the unstoppable force that pushes our foundation forward today. Our organization reaches youth through a rich variety of outreach programming and two annual conferences that are guided by our mission.
