Presented by The Auntie Karen Foundation, the Legends of… Concert Series honors the rich legacy of African American music while bringing world-class performances to South Carolina. As the Foundation celebrates its 25th Anniversary year, this concert marks the beginning of a yearlong celebration of empowerment, artistry, and community impact.

The evening begins with the Auntie Karen All-Star Band, a dynamic showcase of talented regional artists who bring a powerful blend of musicianship, creativity, and soul to the stage. Their performance sets the tone for an unforgettable night.

They will be followed by two world-class acts. Take 6, the most awarded a cappella group in history, and After 7, the chart-topping R&B trio whose smooth sound has defined generations.

Take 6

With 10 GRAMMY Awards, 10 Dove Awards, and a footprint that stretches across jazz, gospel, and pop, Take 6 has been hailed as “the baddest vocal cats on the planet.” Their flawless blend, intricate harmonies, and magnetic stage presence have earned them fans worldwide. They have collaborated with Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Whitney Houston, and many others.

After 7

Known for timeless hits like “Ready or Not,” “Can’t Stop,” and “Sara Smile,” After 7 has spent decades shaping the soundtrack of R&B. Formed by brothers Melvin and Kevon Edmonds with Keith Mitchell, the group carries the legendary Edmonds musical legacy with grace and soul. Their velvety vocals and smooth grooves continue to captivate fans across generations.
