Auntie Karen’s  5th Annual Young Entrepreneurs Conference

Project Summary

The Young Entrepreneurs Conference is an annual event sponsored by the Auntie Karen Foundation. The conference is designed to aspire, promote and educate children and youth from ages seven to twenty-two in developing and managing their own business.

Recent research indicates that children and youth are exhibiting talents and skills for creating businesses and becoming entrepreneurs at an early age.

The conference brings over two hundred youth together to network among successful young entrepreneurs who have developed businesses. Conference sessions are designed to teach basic business principles, to provide strategies for gaining wealth, and showcase young talents at the popular Successville, a station where young entrepreneurs display their businesses.

The Auntie Karen Foundation is very proud of the businesses that have originated from the Young Entrepreneurs Conference. Some of the young entrepreneurs include a videographer, magazine producer, a model, dancer and actress, an entertainment group and movie producers.

The conference continues to grow and support the need to involve children and youth in using their talents and skills to create successful businesses.
